A person live an Holistic Life when deals with the complete system of an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction, rather than dealing with the individual parts of that organismic state.

On a surface level an Holistic Life is a person that deals with the body, mind and spirit. But this to simplistic of a definition and somewhat contradicts the basic meaning of HL by breaking the human organism into three distinct parts; body, mind, and spirit.

According to the definition of life above the human organism must support metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction to be “living”. From this we can say that “quality of life” is based on the level at which these systems function. If these systems are functioning well our quality of life is good. If any of these systems is functioning poorly our quality of life is negatively impacted.

An Holistic Center treat the human by creating programs that help these systems (metabolic, hormone, nervous, physiological, etc.) function as intended by nature to achieve the highest quality of life possible.
