Falerone will greet you whilst you climb the “strada del pozzo” to reach it, with the town of Falerio Picenus, established by the Romans in 29 BC,and you will feel as though you are entering a magical time machine as soon as you see the Roman theatre: the theatre of Tiberio Claudio which has been restored to its original splendour by the archaeological excavations, appears in the silence of the well irrigated fertile planes.
You can also see the characteristics of the building with the stage and the cavea. Beyond the brick wall you can see traces of the large amphitheatre, the remains of the thermal baths, and a Roman well still in use today.
