Marche Breaks

Sandor (37) and Christa (38 ) from Amersfoort Marsi live alongside each other for years. Sandor works six days a week as a cook and when he comes home late at night, his wife and the children Laszlo (9) and Zsusza (6) are already in bed from hours. This needs to change, and so they decide to live drastically to throw together in Italy to enjoy "La Dolce Vita". In the province of Le Marche, near the university town of Urbino, the couple rents for 35,000 euros per year a Bed and Breakfast with swimming pool.

Here they want to rent rooms and offer culinary classes. Everything seems cut and dried. Only the lease must still be signed and then they started. But then there is an unpleasant surprise. Upon arrival, the family property is not empty, a mother lives there with her child in their apartment. The woman does not intend to leave, but the Marsi have burned all their bridges behind him. All in all a difficult position and Sandor must fight hard to ensure that he will with his wife, children and entire household contents will be placed on the street ...

Sandor (37) en Christa (38 ) Marsi uit Amersfoort leven al jaren langs elkaar heen. Sandor werkt zes dagen in de week als chef-kok en als hij midden in de nacht thuiskomt, liggen zijn vrouw en de kinderen Laszlo (9) en Zsusza (6) al uren in bed. Hier moet verandering in komen en daarom besluiten ze hun leven drastisch om te gooien en samen in Italië te gaan genieten van ‘La Dolce Vita’. In de provincie Le Marche, vlakbij de universiteitsstad Urbino, huurt het stel voor 35.000 euro per jaar een Bed and Breakfast met zwembad.

Hier willen ze gastenkamers verhuren en culinaire workshops aanbieden. Alles lijkt in kannen en kruiken. Alleen het huurcontract moet nog worden getekend en dan kunnen ze aan de slag. Maar dan volgt er een onaangename verrassing. Bij aankomst treft de familie het pand niet leeg aan, maar woont er doodleuk een moeder met haar kind in hún appartement. De vrouw lijkt niet van plan om te vertrekken, maar de Marsi’s hebben al hun schepen achter zich verbrand. Al met al een benarde positie en Sandor moet keihard knokken om te voorkomen dat hij straks met vrouw, kinderen en complete inboedel op straat komt te staan…
