It has been populated since the Roman Age (as shown by archaeological finds in the area of Villa
At first it belonged to the Abbey of Montecassino; afterwards to that of Farfa; at the very beginning of the new millennium, it knew how to consolidate its own tourist vocation by taking advantage of its beautiful beach and efficient tourist facilities.
Healthy sea breeze mixes here with fresh breath of wind arriving from the hills.
It wraps the Tower and sneaks past the medieval entrance to the beautiful walls. Then it sweetly disperses into the streets of the small town.
It plays and whirls over the pavements of the main square, watched over by the facade of the 18th c St Mary and San Ciriaco's Church.
